After Yuna has entered a temple and received the blessing of the
fayth, aeons may be summoned in battle. The summoner must pass through
a Cloister of Trails to reach the chamber of fayth. An aeon can
do amazing and pwerful attacks, along with the ability to use magic,
and the strength of their overdrive is immense.
Each Aeon has a sub-menu with extra moves which can be accessed
by pressing —> on the D-pad.
Aeons can shield themselves from upcoming attacks by using shield.
Dismiss makes the Aeons go, and the party return to fight.
Boost lowers the Aeons defense so its weaker to attacks but the
Overdrive gauge fills up twice as fast.
